60-Hour Home Inspection Training Package, $449
This is the package you need for Indiana, Mississippi, Connecticut, ND, SD, etc.
This package is also recommended for states that do not license their home inspectors.

The 60 hour home inspector online training course ($449) includes:
1. 12-Volume Video Series Topics: HVAC, Structure, Electrical, Plumbing, Exteriors, Interiors, Basic Roofing, Advanced Roofing, Steam/Hot Water/Oil Fired Heating, Procedures, Wood Destroying Insects, Business Law. All together you see close to 2000 real life scenes of actual defects from real homes of all ages across the nation. Circles and Arrows help you identify the defect being discussed. Some home inspectors get this sort of exposure only after conducting 400 or more home inspections. 2. The 500-Page Residential Home Inspection Manual The manual provides more detailed information on home inspection topics, also more information on growing and marketing your inspection services, liability issues, and inspector standards. 3. Homework Assignments Covering the Videos and Manual Score at least 80% on the homework and receive a Diploma. |
4. Two-Video Virtual Inspection Set On the first Video, an experienced inspector shows you the areas of a home he is inspecting. You inspect the home along with him. On the second Video, the inspector explains his inspection results so you can compare your findings. 5. Inspection Forms These forms guide you in inspecting up to 1000 different items in the home. The forms also includes a sample pre-inspection contract. Some companies sell their forms for up to $900. 6. Study Guide and Access to 5 full length practice tests for the NHIE exam This is the exam used by most states as their state exam. Completing practice tests helps you do better on the actual test. |

These Videos contain extensive lectures, demonstrations, class discussions and hands-on exercises including: - Conducting your own "hands-on" evaluation of several electrical panel boxes and a combined furnace/water heater system. You can compare your results with those of an experienced home inspector and listen to our instructor provide detailed explanations of the identified defects. - Conducting your own "in the field" evaluations of roofs, exteriors and structure of homes. You then compare your evaluation results with those of the experienced inspector. - Roofing, exteriors and structural tours of over 200 homes. - Question and answer sessions between students like you and an experienced home inspector/trainer. - Marketing and legal issues. |
