Steps to Becoming a Licensed Indiana Home Inspector
There are 5 steps to receive an Indiana Home Inspection License:
1) Complete a 60 Hour Home Inspection Training Course
2) Complete the Hands-On Requirement
3) Pass the State Exam. Indiana uses the National Home Inspector Exam (NHIE) as the state exam.
4) Submit your application and fee to the state.
5) Obtain insurance with general liability of at least $100,000.

You do the inspection also. On the second video, the inspector explains the problems he found with the home. You can compare your results.
