2. Complete a 60 hour training course to become a Home Inspector Intern. We recommend our $449 online 60 Hour Residential Home Inspection Package.
Our 60-hour online package is only $449 and includes the following items:
- A 12-Volume video set showing close to 2000 scenes of real defects from actual homes. What better way to learn about the defects you should be able to identify as a home inspector than actually seeing the defects?
- A 500 page home inspection training manual with more detail of home inspection topics.
- A 2-Volume Virtual Inspection video set so you can practice doing an inspection before you go out in-site.
- When you finish the course, you receive access to a Study Guide and 5 full length practice tests to help prepare for the National Home Inspector Exam (NHIE). Connecticut uses this difficult exam as their state test. Students do much better on this exam if they practice beforehand.
- Everything is online so you can start anytime and proceed at your own pace. Do the course at home when you have the time.
4. Perform 100 supervised inspections with at least the first 10 home inspections under the direct supervision of your mentor.
5. Pass the National Home Inspector Exam (NHIE).
