Montana Home Inspector Training
Want to become a home inspector in Montana?
Montana recently passed legislation requiring home inspectors to register with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. The rule requires home inspectors to either pass a national exam or participate in a comprehensive educational program. Our 60 Hour Home Inspector Training Package has received approval from the State of Montana to satisfy this requirement. We have been training home inspectors in the Intermountain West for over 26 years.
The 60-Hour Home Inspection Package includes the following:
The 60-Hour Home Inspection Package includes the following:
- A 12-Volume video set showing you close to 2000 scenes of real defects from actual homes.
- A 500 page home inspection training manual with over 350 line diagrams, hands-on inspection procedures, marketing ideas, and more.
- A 2-Volume Virtual Inspection video set so you can practice inspecting before going out on your own.
- Access to a Study Guide and 5 full length practice tests to better prepare you for the National Home Inspector Exam (NHIE).
Through our program, you will develop an ability to recognize how homes fail (a very specialized knowledge base) long after they have been built under code. Only people who have extensive experience in repair & maintenance in ALL the different trades would already know the kinds of things taught in a good quality home inspector training program. Even those highly qualified individuals would not know where a home inspection begins and where it ends. They might under-inspect or over-inspect a home if they do not learn what is expected in a home inspection. We teach that as well!
