Interested in Becoming a Home Inspector in South Dakota??
To become a registered home inspector in South Dakota, you must have successfully completed high school or equivalent, successfully completed an approved home inspector course of at least 40 hours, and have successfully completed the designated exam. Our 4-Point Residential Inspection Home Study Package fulfills the 40 hour approved education requirement for becoming a registered home inspector in South Dakota and should help you pass the exam. Our school, A Better School of Building Inspection, is on the list of approved training providers.
To become licensed home inspector in South Dakota, you must have been employed as a registered home inspector for at least one year and have performed at least 100 home inspections for compensation.
