Arizona Home Inspector Training
Want to become a home inspector in Arizona?
Arizona certifies its home inspectors through the State Board of Technical Registration. The board
requires at least 84 hours of education, passing the NHIE exam, and going on parallel
inspections. The board does not approve training schools, but rather they stipulate that a school is approved if it has an accreditation. Our training program is offered through Texas State University-San Marcos which is an accreditated institution. Your completion document comes from Texas State University-San Marcos.
This $699, 120-hour training course includes the following:

The Board also requires 30 parallel inspections. We have inspectors in Phoenix who can provide you with these parallel inspections. They charge about $75 per inspection. However, if you find your own licensed home inspector to conduct these parallel inspections with, you are free to use them as well.
