*Before attempting to pass a commercial level exam in a specific area, i.e. Electrical, we recommend that you first become certified in the IRC®  (Residential) in that area, i.e. Electrical.  Knowledge and proficiency in the Residential code will provide an excellent foundation for preparing for the Commercial level topics and exams.  Without this foundation of knowledge in the Residential arena, the chances of your passing the commercial level exam could be diminished.
