Financial Benefits of the Home Inspection Profession

Home inspectors typically make a minimum of $200 per inspection no matter where they are in the United States and typically spend only 2 to 4 hours conducting each inspection.  Thus, they can typically do two inspections a day or 10 in a regular work week.  That's $2,000 a week.   If you give yourself two weeks vacation and work 50 weeks a year, that's about $100.000 a year if you get to full time.   No one's business starts out "full steam" however, and so you would expect it to take a while to get to full time.   But if and when you get to full time, the rewards can be great.
